TDBA committee members monitor and liaise with the relevant authorities on bridleway issues which have been reported on the Somerset County Council website by users. (go to "reporting issues" page on this website to see how to report)
It is important to understand that the issues (fallen tree, dangerous path, overgrown vegetation etc...) must be reported by the person who has encounter the problem. Best is to join some photos to the claim and the 3words Location.
The more people reporting the same issue, the more priority the issue will be given.
We are committed to keeping our bridleways accessible and safe but we need more eyes on the ground.
TDBA can guide you for the reporting but won't report for you. However, once reported, please let us know the reference number and a quick description, so we can add it to our own list for follow up.
We can then monitor the progress of the defects and work with authorities to rectify issues.
